It all started with curiosity, a single bag of spawn, a bucket, and the question: Could I grow these myself? What began as an experiment quickly turned into a passion. The more I learned about mushrooms, their health benefits, versatility, and sustainability. The more I realized I wasn’t just growing food. I was growing something meaningful.
MO Mush was born in my small grow space here in Springfield, MO, but its purpose has always been bigger. I wanted to offer people something they couldn’t get from grocery store shelves: truly fresh, locally grown, organic mushrooms, harvested by hand and delivered with care. And not just to individuals but to restaurants, markets, and communities looking for something real.
Along the way, I’ve connected with chefs, home cooks, and mushroom lovers who share the same excitement for flavor and wellness. Together, we’re building more than just a farm. We’re building a local movement, one that brings good food, good practices, and good people together around something humble and extraordinary: the mushroom.

Hi, I’m the grower behind MO Mush, a small mushroom farm in Springfield. We are passionate about fresh, flavorful food. What started as a simple growing experiment has turned into a mission: to provide high-quality, organic gourmet mushrooms to our local community at prices that fit everyday cooking.
At MO Mush, we carefully grow a variety of mushrooms, including Lion’s Mane and Blue Oyster, using sustainable and low-impact practices. We believe in being open and honest, offering great taste, and helping people discover the benefits of mushrooms—whether through recipes, chats at the market, or fresh deliveries.
